ICT Enabled Programs, Correspondence and regular Face-to-face degrees/programs from accredited Universities offer instructions in the areas where the student has enrolled for. However, in regular face-to-face programs, one has to attend physical classes and follow a time-table. The Correspondence program, on the other hand, provides students with study material to learn at their own convenience but the process comes with limited academic interactivity. Whereas in ICT Enabled Programs, the student gets an opportunity to view videos, take assignments at anytime, anywhere from a device of his convenience. ICT Enabled Programs are best suited to meet the needs of students who prefer flexibility, quality, affordability and high interactivity.
English is the preferred language for all the programs.
Not every program is available online. The University has planned to launch several programs in the ICT Enabled Programs format very soon. This shall depend upon the interest of the students for particular programs. You may want to submit your request if the program you desire does not feature in the available list of programs.
Yes, you can access the program entirely online. You shall be given your unique User ID and password which can be used to access the learning management system. However, the students may also opt for the offline content (to be accessed from their Android based smartphones/tablets) at a nominal cost.
Yes, you can view the videos in an offline mode on any android device (Smartphone or tablet) even when there is no Internet connection by installing the mobile Application and content. The Application and content for your program for a specific semester/year will be provided on an SD card.
An enrolled student shall be able to access the lectures at his/her convenience. The students shall be able to rewind/revise a lecture as many times as desired. Some of the more difficult topics are covered by more than one professor. The students get to learn the topic from the faculty of her choice. You can also view the lectures in an offline mode by downloading the mobile application on your smart phones.
You can learn the programs anytime based on your schedule and time available to you. But term end examinations and internal assessments will have to be completed as per the deadlines shared by the University.
The content can be accessed using any device that can run a browser. The students may use a computer, a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone to access the application. The content can also be accessed in the offline mode (no need of Internet). Please get in touch with the Online Programs cell of the University for further details.
In each program there are activities like assignments, practice / mock tests, virtual classroom sessions, forums for discussions, questionnaire / survey etc. conducted so that AMU ICT Enabled Programs become more effective and interactive for the students.
Almost every communication between the teaching staff and students take place via e-mail and other online modes. Most of the programs have bulletin board or chat rooms which help in fostering communication between students and teaching staff. Please login to the Learning Management System as soon as your get your ID.
The detailed syllabus of the program is available in the learning management system (LMS) after you log in to the program. Also you can get the subject details of the programs under Academics section.
The students shall have to submit assignments and participate in activities during the program as directed by the University. There would be an end term exam as well.
Students enrolling for ICT Enabled Programs earn academic credit, and are graded in the same way as other students of the University. The University maintains parity for students irrespective of the medium of teaching.
The student has to pay the prescribed fee along with the examination fee to receive his/her individual marksheet and the provisional certificate. The same is included as part of the fees for final examination. The details shall be provided on the exam application form.
The University facilitates a Convocation Ceremony where students are awarded with their degrees. The students are requested to watch for the notification issued by the University for the Annual Convocation in the Newspapers and in the University’s website and submit the application for the convocation, after remitting the fee prescribed.

You will receive your ID and password by the University once you have completed the formalities of the admission. The AMU ICT Enabled Programs cell is serviced by a dedicated Student Care Helpdesk.
Admissions for the ICT Enabled Programs can be taken using the Online Application Form. Please do check for the current batches. The student needs to align himself/herself with the currently running batches in the University. However, if desired, the student can also download the offline application form, fill it up and send the same to the University (please refer to the ‘Admission’ section of the website).

Yes. Original documents should not be sent by post. However, verification of original certificates before the completion of the program is compulsory either at AMU office or at AMU designated centers.
Proof of Academic Qualification: Attested/notarized photocopies of the last qualifying exam and statement of marks (degree certificate/mark sheet)
Attested photo copy of the marriage certificate (if applicable) indicating change in name.
You will need to get 1 photocopy of the above mentioned documents attested/notarized by a gazette officer of the Government. The student also needs to provide 3 Passport size photographs.
Photocopies must be attested either by a Gazette Officer, Principal or a Notary.
Candidate’s name as printed in 10th marksheet or Admit Card. In case of unavailability of 10th marksheet or admit card, Date of Birth Certificate issued by revenue officials, / Passport copy / Notarized Date of Birth Certificate.
You can request for change of your name at the University after marriage or in case of spelling mistakes. However, there would be an additional fee for the same, details of which are available in the respective course page.
In case of spelling errors, you have to submit a written application to the University enclosed with an affidavit, incorrect original copy of the document, 10th passed certificate photocopy or any school record of the correct name.
If change of name is required after marriage then you need to submit an attested copy of the marriage certificate.
Each Program has a specific validity period of registration as decided in the Program Structure for each program. (It is incorporated in the Program Structure given to you). There is a facility of re-registration on payment of prescribed fee.
Change of specialization for MBA in the second year of the study and change of electives for BSc (Computer Science) in the second and third years of study are permitted by the University. You need to inform the respective department head.
Students opting for a change of specialization/electives shall pay the additional fees via State Bank of India / Indian Bank Core Banking challan.

100% fees will be refunded if Student gives notice of withdraw from the program in 15 Days or more before the formally-notified last date of admission
90% fees will be refunded if Student gives notice of withdraw from the program in Less than 15 Days before the formally-notified last date of admission
80% fees will be refunded if Student gives notice of withdraw from the program in 15 Days or less after the formally-notified last date of admission
50% fees will be refunded if Student gives notice of withdraw from the program in 30 Days or less, but more than 15 days, after formally-notified last date of admission
0% fees will be refunded if Student gives notice of withdraw from the program in More than 30 Days after formally-notified last date of admission
Fees will be refunded within fifteen days from the date of receiving a written application from the student in this regard
A Student once enrolled is not eligible for requesting Change of Program.
Once the student is admitted for a university program, he/she cannot cancel the admission.
There are no such fee concessions or reimbursements for any category of the students.
